Our Middle School iPad Project continues to help our teachers and students become familiar and comfortable with the 21st century tools they will need to succeed in higher education and the workforce. Commitments from our 2013 and 2014 breakfasts totaling over $175,000 provided funding for our Middle School iPad Project. This project purchased 325 iPads and 18 sync/charging carts for our middle and K-8 schools. We also provided Apple training to teacher teams as they began specific projects to support classroom learning. Our long-term goal is to help our district provide 1:1 technology for all our students. Eventually we hope to provide each student an iPad or other device to use not only in the classroom, but to take home for 24/7 access to learning.
