On the fourth Day of Success, you helped support D6, by raising over $130,000 in less than an hour at the Ninth Annual Success Foundation Breakfast.
This year’s Success Foundation Breakfast featured involvement from many students, staff, and leaders in our community. The program opened with the National Anthem from Greeley Central High School’s Jazz Band under the direction of Mr. Doug Farr, and the Northridge High School Jr. ROTC under the direction of Major Stephen Kintzley presented the colors. Presentations were given by Dr. District 6 Superintendent, Dr. Deirdre Pilch, Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Stacie Datteri, Meeker Principal, Cathy Nelson, McAuliffe Principal, Jeff Petersen, and teachers Tracey Rodriguez and Dan Goding from Martinez and McAuliffe.
We also heard from students at Franklin Middle School and Northridge High School, as well as community leaders, Mike and Jill Trotter.
Our breakfast launched us into our 2019 project focus: SmartLabs. This is a brand new and exciting project for The Success Foundation. Each SmartLab costs between $150,000-$200,000, and allows students to explore STEM and media arts through applied technology and project-based learning. It’s a learning environment that supports hands-on, minds-on learning and a place where personalized learning and intrinsic motivation engage students of all ages, interests, and abilities.
