Michael Amberg is currently the Director of Business Development for Kaiser Permanente. Before that, he owned and operated a small business in Oklahoma for eight years called Amazing Athletes. Here, he coached fitness classes and taught nine different sports to kids 2-12 years old.
Michael has always been passionate about education. Serving on the Success Foundation board has allowed him to stay connected to the education community. As a board member, Amberg helps ensure that funding goes to the right places and that kids throughout the school district are receiving the resources they need to be successful.
Currently serving as co-chair of Ride4Success, Amberg sees the event as one that develops a sense of community, bringing people together from all over Weld County and beyond. He also believes it provides an opportunity for people to help fund the Success Foundation so that we can provide exciting opportunities for the students of the school district to learn in fun and creative ways.
“It’s a win-win for the entire community!”

“I was in attendance at the 1989 World Series in San Francisco when the big earthquake hit. I was only 10 years old at the time, but I still very vividly remember every aspect of all that happened.”
