The Success Foundation Staff, along with several of our board members and a few donors, had the opportunity to attend the 2nd Annual Blended Learning Summit, hosted by Greeley-Evans School District 6. This was a very exciting event for us, because we’ve helped to promote blended learning within our district. Not only did we get to see statistics of immense improvement in even our lowest scoring schools, we had the opportunity to go observe classrooms using blended learning models.
Our mission at The Success Foundation has always been to promote innovation and cultivate creative learning for students in District 6. We work to engage partners in the community, in order to bring resources together to support education. Since inception in 2010, we have helped to fund projects including bandwidth expansion, iPad projects, and most recently our blended learning project. We believe it is extremely important to provide students with 21st century tools, so they can prepare adequately for their future.
This conference was a wonderful reminder of what we all continue to work towards. There are some amazing things happening in our school district. Way to go D6!
