Scott Elementary school staff is less than two weeks into the school year, but they’ve already begun recruiting riders for their Ride4Success team on Saturday, September 29th. We spoke with their office manager, Amy Rotunno, about why she believes in this event, and why she works hard to organize her school’s team. “We here at Scott LOVE The Success Foundation Bike Ride. It is such a good way for us to bond with each other. We do the 10-Mile family ride, and we have staff and their children join us, and some of our Scott families join us.” Not only does Ride4Success raise funds to help us continue to provide students with unique opportunities, it gives YOU the opportunity to get to bond with your fellow staff and families that are part of your school.
As if raising money for our kiddos isn’t enough, we’re giving you the opportunity to earn this year’s traveling trophy! Scott Elementary was very excited to earn the title last year! “We are very proud of the trophy. It sits in our office and we have every intention of taking it back this year. We challenge you to take it away from us but…don’t count on it!”
Ride4Success is a great event, filled with support from our schools, local businesses, and community. “It is such a fantastic way to raise money for The Success Foundation. Ride your bike, encourage your staff to join in, and get your families involved.” Join Scott Elementary’s team at Lincoln Park on September 29th!
