Greeley Strong: Community Comes Together to Support District 6

Things sure have changed since March! When the district announced a second week of spring break due to COVID, students and staff alike were thrilled! That two week break turned into a five month span of working at home and remote learning and now students and staff have become overwhelmed with stockholm syndrome. Finally, August is here and District 6 is set to reopen in person learning – with every safety measure you can think of in place – which includes masking our students at some points of the school day.

The Success Foundation was proud to support the MaskDistrict6 Campaign. Through this campaign, we were able to raise over $25,000 and members of our community sewed over 4,500 masks to donate as well. We are proud to announce that we were able to secure 20,000 masks for our students because of your donations! Like many other materials, there will be a continual need for masks as we tread through this pandemic. The Success Foundation will be accepting masks on an ongoing basis to help combat this need.

We are so grateful for the help of our community, whom continually support us and all the students in Greeley-Evans School District 6. Greeley and Evans are such close-knit communities and that has become even more evident through your support of this campaign. We are advancing in to uncharted territory, and we know we can always call on our community for help. THANK YOU!
