Although current events are very unsettling, there is also so much good taking place. We are very impressed and proud of our partners at Greeley Evans School District 6. Within a week, they have mobilized at-home learning and continue to provide services remotely including serving meals daily to students in need. We are grateful to our donors and community for supporting technology in our schools through our work and the mill levy override. Learning from home would not be possible without the technology tools we now have in place in District 6 thanks to all of you.
The Success Foundation remains committed to serving the needs of students in Greeley-Evans School District 6. We were able to complete a 2-day strategy workshop at the end of February and taking this time to complete work related to our strategic planning. While being sensitive with fundraising efforts, we will continue to seek and match funding opportunities as they are available to ensure learning experiences are supported and opportunities are available to all students now and in the future.
We are always grateful to our donors, sponsors and volunteers but times like these make you realize how important community really is. We are also thankful for the efforts of United Way of Weld County, Weld Community Foundation, Weld Food Bank, and so many other non-profit agencies working tirelessly to ensure the needs of our community are met. If you are able, please support these agencies and our local businesses who have been impacted so significantly during this time.
We are all in this together and find comfort in your partnership. You’ve shown your commitment to our community and know we will continue to be strong. Thank you, take care of yourselves, and we will look forward to seeing you soon!
