Along with tables for the Weld County Food Bank, students are also working on several projects for Family Lutheran Services. Some students have worked on a bench that will be housed in their courtyard, others have been working on refurbishing furniture that will be used for the refugee services program.
Their finished projects include silhouettes that will be placed around the community to bring awareness to Free Our Girls, the nonprofit that works to bring awareness to sex trafficking, and who provide services and outreach projects to those that have been victims.
We have seen a couple stages of these projects, and are very excited to fund such a wonderful project. The class will host a public viewing as they present their projects to representatives from each non-profit on December 14, 2018 from 8:45-9:15 a.m.
