I am the new Success Foundation Board president, Greg Voelz. I am excited about the possibilities for our foundation in the coming year because we have great support from District 6 employees, Foundation patrons, and the communities of Greeley and Evans.
I have been on the Board since 2013. During these four years I have coordinated the Ride4Success and watched it grow from an idea to a great event that raises funds for the Foundation while building partnerships with community groups, cyclists, and volunteers.
During this year, I hope to bring even more volunteers to the Foundation to help us provide greater support for the teachers and students in District 6. I believe we can bring in additional partnerships with business and community groups that will allow students to “show off” their skills and the impact that the Foundation has on a daily basis. We provide monetary resources, ideas, and amazing people to help maintain and advance the great things happening in the district.
I invite you to join us in the coming year, at our breakfast on March 27th at Northridge High School, the 5th Ride4Success on September 29th, or as a volunteer to help with smaller tasks throughout the year. We have been successful over the last seven years because people who care about innovative ideas in education, supporting students and teachers through grants, riding a bike, attending a breakfast, or volunteering, people like you, have stepped up and become active.
2018 is going to be a very successful year. Let us know how you will help!
