Prepare For Your Future

As a Junior Board Member of the Success Foundation, you will work in partnership with The Success Foundation’s Director of Marketing to help coordinate and oversee communications efforts that effectively promote and enhance the mission of The Success Foundation. Members will be expected to attend monthly meetings and actively participate in discussions involving student engagement within Greeley-Evans schools. Student opinions are vital in supporting the work of the Foundation. Members will be involved in several events and campaigns that will raise additional resources for District 6 students and increase awareness of the Foundation’s work and impact in the Greeley and Evans communities to both students and parents.


General Expectations

  1. Represent the student body and work closely with The Success Foundation Marketing Director to effectively design and implement campaigns
  2. Increase awareness of Foundation among students and families
  3. Actively participate in student campaigns

Events and Campaigns

  1. Provide assistance and support to the events/campaigns listed below:
    • 11th Annual Success Foundation Breakfast
    • District 6 Community Kickoff
    • Ride4Success
    • Colorado Gives Day – Student Campaign
  1. Assist in the announcements/presentations of new campaigns
  2. Market campaigns around your school (hang posters, submit to school newspapers, make announcements, tell friends and family, etc.)

Marketing Assistance

  1. Research and write Success Story blog posts for The Success Foundation website
  2. Assist in developing Social Media campaigns and content
  3. Potentially help introduce new social media platforms to The Success Foundation
  4. Assist in brand recognition for The Success Foundation

Professional Development

  1. Mock Interviews, writing resumes and cover letters
  2. Various guest speakers such as financial management, goal setting, time management, self care, networking, and making your digital profile appealing to employers
  3. Studying and discussing resources/articles/videos and other materials related to leadership
  4. Public Speaking opportunities
  5. Development of soft skills


  1. Have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher
  2. Attend a high school within the Greeley-Evans School District (Northridge, Greeley West, Greeley Central, University Schools, Frontier Academy, Union Colony, Jefferson, and Early College Academy)
  3. Participate in at least one other extracurricular activity including but not limited to: school or club sport, fine arts activity, performing arts activity, participation in a school or community club, member on another youth/community board
  4. Be able to attend monthly Junior Board meetings (schedule tbd)
