On the third Day of Success, you helped support D6, by helping us fund 21 grants for a total of $37,093
Fourteen different schools received grants from The Success Foundation for the 2019-2020 school year. Projects ranged from new technology such as 3D printers, Promethean Boards, voice recorders, and iPads, to materials that encourage student creativity through art exploration, culinary arts studies, and materials to support students with cultural diversity or special needs.
The Success Foundation funds grants for innovative projects that fuel student achievement. From online curriculum to creation of projects with circuits to young authors, the teacher grant program allows teachers to stretch their students’ capabilities and dreams. Students are working with 21st Century tools that are developing college/career readiness. Funding for grants comes primarily from the Thrive on 5 employee giving campaign from District 6 teachers and staff, initiated in 2012.
Grant applications for the 2020-21 school year are now open. For more information, and to apply, click here.
