Educator of the Year Nomination

The Educator of the Year Award recognizes outstanding educators in Greeley-Evans School District 6.  The Success Foundation encourages the nomination of one Educator of the Year nominee from each school to be selected by a committee designated by school administration.  The nominating committee may include but is not limited to the school leadership team, parents and students.  


Who is Eligible:

*All classroom teachers;

*Specials teachers (art, physical education, library, technology, etc.);

*Special education;

*Gifted and talented;


*Certified language development teachers;

*Certified technical education teachers;

*Nominee must be full-time employee and teach at least 4 hours every school day;

*Nominee must have 4 years or more of full-time teaching experience in District 6.

Your Information

Please be as detailed as possible in your responses. The selection committee relies solely on the nomination forms when choosing the winner. The more thorough the response, the better the chance your nominee has of being selected. The nomination form may also be shared with your nominee.

Nomination Form

Question #1:

  • Can you provide an example of a time when they inspired students.

  • Could you share an instance where their contributions directly improved the learning experience for students.

  • Provide an example of how their experience or unique perspective has directly benefited students.

Question #2:

  • Describe a situation where collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, or administration had a positive impact on their educational community.

  • Give an example of how their energy, enthusiasm, and dependability were evident in teaching or interactions with others.

Question #3:

Please list the nominee's involvement in school and/or community events outside the classroom.

Question #4:

List any other characteristics and/or abilities of nominee that you believe make her/him worthy of Educator of the Year recognition.
