Grant Criteria
In order to be eligible, grants must:
Serve students in Greeley-Evans School District 6
Align with the goals, standards, technology preferences, and strategic plan of District 6
Be used for the purpose requested. Changes in use of funds is not allowed one the grant is awarded
Be submitted by District 6 Employees (grants are not provided to organizations outside of District 6)
Demonstrate notable forethought and creativity
Be approved by the applicant's principal or supervisor prior to submission
Be scheduled for implementation within the school year awarded
Other requirements
Recipients are asked to acknowledge The Success Foundation’s support and allow
materials and photographs related to grant to be used for publicity purposes.
Recipients must complete the evaluation provided by The Success Foundation no
later than May 31 st at end of grant period. Failure to submit evaluation will result in
loss of opportunity for future grants.
Preference will be given to proposals that:
A. Demonstrate innovative uses of resources to support student learning;
B. Have research and/or evidence-based rationale;
C. Involve collaboration with other teachers and/or schools in District 6;
D. If successful, could be replicated by other grades, classes, and/or
E. Serve the greatest number of students possible given the project/program goals.
Innovative Learning Grants do not generally fund:
A. Projects or programs for individuals;
B. Teacher or administrative salaries;
C. Scholarships;
D. Electronic devices as stand-along project; devices will be considered if they
are a necessary accessory item for larger project;
E. Items otherwise adequately funded through the district budget;
F. Furniture;
G. Food and entertainment;
H. Professional development
How Do I Apply?
Applications for our annual grant cycle are open from mid-November to January 31 st .
The Innovative Learning Grant application can be found on The Success Foundation website at
www.d6successfoundation.org/what-we-fund/grants . Click on the Innovative Learning Grant
Application link, complete application and submit online. The Success Foundation will only
accept online applications. Once the application is submitted, the applicant will receive
confirmation that the application has been received. If no confirmation is received, please

Review Process
The Success Foundation staff will conduct an initial review of grant applications to ensure grant
criteria have been met, all required components are included and that applications have been
approved by the applicant's principal or supervisor. Applications that qualify will be passed to
the Innovative Learning Grant Committee. The committee will not receive any identifying
information to ensure an impartial review of all grant applications. Committee will review
applications and make funding recommendations to The Success Foundation Board of
Directors.
Final determination for funding will take place at the April board meeting. Applicants will be
notified of the acceptance or denial of their proposal by April.
