2020 Highlights

SmartLabs

Over $100,000 donated to this year's SmartLab Project. To date, 5 SmartLabs have been installed thanks to combined efforts of The Success Foundation and mill levy override funds.

Food4Success Unpaid Meal Debt Campaign

Over $200,000 was raised to COMPLETELY ELIMINATE meal debt in District 6 and to cover costs associated with emergency feeding programs! With 67% of our students qualifying for free-and-reduced lunch, it is common for school lunch to be their only meal of the day. The reality of this structure is that debt is quickly accumulated and must be paid off by the district's general fund if not paid by families.

Ride4Success Goes Virtual (with a new name)

Over $30,000 was raised at the first every RollOut4Success. With the uncertainty of Covid, we took the plunge into virtual events and saw great participation. You can look forward to another virtual "ride" in 2021!

21st Century Education Grants

Nineteen grants, totaling over $35,000, were funded at thirteen different schools and departments. Projects ranged from new technology such as virtual learning and mini-projectors to gardening equipment, College for Kids opportunities, and musical instruments.

MaskDistrict6 & Covid Relief

Over $40,000 was raised, alongside donations of about 25,000 masks, to ensure our students were able to go back to in-person learning. Your efforts and support allowed our students to be in school building longer than almost any district in Colorado.

Coming Soon

Bands Give Back Campaign

Nearly $10,000 was raised to support music educations programs in District 6. Local band, The Burroughs, chose to partner with TSF on this initiative that aims to support local students by increasing their access to music education support and resources.

Delia & John W. Haefeli Opportunity Fund

An endowed fund was established at the end of 2019 and spendable funds are being annually raised to immediately fill the needs of students in District 6. Over $55,000 was raised in 2020 that is currently supporting internet needs of remote learners who would otherwise not have this service in their homes.

TSF Endowment Fund

The Success Foundation established a $25,000 Endowment Fund. The fund is being held at the Community Foundation, and was made possible through their grant matching program.
